From assessment to installation, we make sure you stay safe at home.
Safety Assessments
The essential first step. A licensed occupational therapist evaluates the whole home through a clinical lens — spotting hazards and understanding how each person actually moves through their space.
What's included:
Walkthrough of 8 key areas: entryways, bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, stairways, lighting, flooring, and emergency prep
A safety score for each area, with hazards documented in photos
A written report within 48 hours, with recommendations ranked by urgency and cost
Who it's for: Older adults planning to stay home, families worried about a parent living alone, or anyone after a fall or change in mobility.
Fee: $250.00
Home Modifications
Recommendations only make a home safer once the work is done. Our CAPS-certified partner TB Home Services completes the changes properly, so nothing falls through the cracks.
What's included:
Grab bars, stair railings, ramps, and improved lighting
Non-slip flooring, raised toilet seats, and full bathroom accessibility updates
Correct, professional installation — one team, one point of contact, plan to completion
Who it's for: Families who've had an assessment and want the recommended changes handled right, without juggling multiple contractors.
Estimates are Provided after the In-Home Assessment
Fall Prevention and Safety Planning
Safety is about more than the house — it's about the person in it. Drawing on OT expertise, we reduce individual fall risk in ways a physical fix alone can't.
What's included:
A personalized plan covering mobility, balance, and daily routines
Attention to vision, medication, and lighting factors that affect steadiness
Practical strategies for high-risk activities and times of day
Who it's for: Those with a history of falls or new unsteadiness, anyone managing a diagnosis affecting balance, and families wanting a proactive plan.
